When I found out I was going to be a mother, it lit a fire under me to make big changes. While creating a better life for my children, I discovered my passion and learned a valuable lesson along the way.

As I looked at the results, I knew it was time for a big transition. When I found out I was expecting my first child, it pushed me to create a better life for him.

At the time, I felt like I was drowning just trying to keep my head above water financially. My husband and I at the time bought a house right before the market crashed and spent years scrambling to hang onto it after he lost his job. For three years, I was in over my head. I spent 90 hours a week waitressing and managing restaurants over 12 different shifts every week. At the same time, I also ran my own event production company. With only three hours of sleep a night, I was running on fumes.

In the end, I sold my house in a short sale and lost everything I worked so hard for. It was only worth half of what we had paid, even after years of making payments. It was eight years before we bought again. By then, I knew so much more and would never overextend myself.

I have been financially savvy for most of my life. I still remember going out to get an IRA with my friend at 18 years old. As one of nine, my parents did the best they could, but there were a lot of us children to provide for and that meant we often went without. I learned early on about budgeting and finance, and I always had a side business along with my career. Even with all that knowledge and my college degrees, I was left decimated by the recession.

After years of working in financial and investment planning and decades in the service industry, I became a licensed REALTOR® in 2016. Real estate is a passion of mine because it is the best investment one can make. I like to help my clients change the trajectory of their life by helping them build wealth through real estate. A home provides security and stability if done right, and I always take time to help my clients plan for long-term success. My personal experience is also why I provide a free session with a financial planner to all my clients after closing.

All those years ago, I wanted a better quality of life for my children (I have two now), but I did not realize how much my own life would improve. Becoming a mother has made my life so much richer, and I could not be prouder of my children. Watching them enjoy each life experience has helped me slow down and learn to appreciate life so much more. They are the most supportive, responsible pair I could have wished for.

I am exactly where I should be today. It is easy to look back and say I should have or could have, but everything I have learned has gotten me where I am and given me the skills to do what I love each day. I realized while it is good to keep striving for more, it is also important to enjoy the journey. I help my clients do that by building wealth through real estate.

When I am not working, I enjoy going on hikes with my children, going to the beach, and checking out new coffee shops and restaurants. My favorite part of being a REALTOR® is helping my clients achieve their financial goals in the best possible ways and achieving financial security and stability for their family.

When you are buying or selling, you want an expert. Not only am I a licensed REALTOR® with years of experience, I’m also a certified skilled expert negotiator. I take my responsibility to my clients seriously and consistently do the research to stay at the top of my industry.

With my background in psychology, I can read between the lines to know exactly what sellers and buyers want. In a competitive market, I get offers accepted and frequently get my sellers above asking price. My marketing cannot be beat because I do everything possible to get each listing in front of as many prospective buyers as possible. Also, I know exactly what improvements will net the highest return and what is not worth your time.

I offer each client a complimentary appointment with a financial advisor after closing to continue planning for all your future goals.
